About the Event
The first annual St. Vincent de Paul "Helping our Neighbors" 5k will be held on June 3rd at Mick Morgan's Irish Pub on the Sharon/Walpole line. This beautiful course begins at Mick Morgan's, winds primarily along a country road shrouded by massive oaks and bordered by the fairways of Walpole Country Club, turns into a residential neighborhood and then back along the original road to Mick Morgan's where prizes will be awarded.

All the proceeds from the event go to support, without judgement, the neediest families and individuals in the community in the form of food, clothing and payments towards rent, utilities, medical needs and other necessities.
St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. As important, SVdP provides meaningful opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbors in need with love and compassion.
T-Shirts
T-Shirts will be given to the first 200 runner registrants!
Number Pick-up
Bib numbers can be picked up the day before the race, at Mick Morgan's restaurant, from 4pm-8pm. You may also pick up on the day of the race starting at 9:00 am, with a 10:00 am start time.
Parking
Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling the day of the race. The three main parking areas will be the office building at 1600 Boston Providence Highway, Senior Aerospace Metal Bellows 1075 Boston Providence Highway (both on Route One South past Mick Morgan's), and Jarvis Farm 691 Common Street, Walpole.

I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, release and discharge Mick Morgan's Restaurant and Irish Pub and their affiliates, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, EconoLodge Sharon, the town of Sharon and the town of Walpole, their affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors and employees; sponsors, coordinating groups and any and all other individuals, entities, and organizations associated with the race from all claims, damages, rights of action, present or future, whether the same be known, anticipated, or unanticipated resulting from or arising out of, or in incident to, my participation in the event. I hereby certify that I will not participate in the Helping our Neighbors 5k road race unless I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for competition in the race. I grant full permission to any and all the foregoing to use my likeness in all media, including photographs, recordings, my story or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that dogs/animals, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, or blades, and radio headsets are not allowed in the race and I abide by this guideline.
